The only one of its kind, Lale’s Camp is located in the Omo Valley, on the eastern banks of the Omo River. Named after Lale Biwa, Wild Expedition’s co-owner, Chief Guide, a brilliant logistician, and from the Omo Valley himself, the camp was refurbished in 2018, comes with a mess area and a maximum of seven sleeping tents, and serves as excellent base for day and overnight trips. The food is hearty fare, with cooked breakfasts, picnics and three course dinners, while the service is lovely. A first-class piece of adventure accommodation, it is available on an exclusive basis. Please note that Lale’s Camp is closed during the wet months of April and May.
