Wild Expeditions is part of the Wild Group Wild Enterprise and the founding charity Wild Philanthropy, all initially established by Journeys by Design. This group of organisations is trying to rebalance the Africian travel sector, ensuring suitable investment is available locally to protect the wilderness and wildlife the travel depends on, and making sure supporting local communities benefit from that travel, immediately and in the long-term.
Other partners are the organisations with which we work closely. They include: Aquarius Aviation, who supplied us with our Cessna 208, and provide aviation support; Tropic Air, with whom we work closely when organising itineraries that involve helicopters; Response Med, our remote medical support provider; and a range of trusted tour operators, including Journeys by Design, GeoEx, Origins Safaris, Explorations Company, African Adventures, and Steppes Travel.
