Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings:

Once a booking is fully confirmed, you will be sent a booking confirmation form by our office. This needs to be filled out in full with all guest passport information details and any other necessary requirements. The staff and guides at Wild Expeditions will work off this form to ensure each guest is looked after to the best of their ability.

2. Cancellations:

Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your holiday once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us in writing. Your notice of cancellation will only be effective when, it is received in writing, by us at our offices. As we incur costs from the time we confirm your booking, the following cancellation charges will be payable. Where the cancellation charge is shown as a percentage, this is calculated on the basis of the total cost payable by the person(s) cancelling excluding insurance premiums and amendment charges. Amendment charges are not refundable in the event of cancellation.

Period before the start of your holiday within which written notification of cancellation is received by us:

More than 91 days: 30% (deposit)

60 - 91 days: 50%

0 - 60 days (including after the trip has started): 100%

Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the terms of your insurance policy. Claims must be made directly to the insurance company concerned.

Partial cancellation may result in the recalculation of the cost of the holiday for remaining party members.

Covid-19 adjusted Terms and Conditions

We remind all travellers to carry comprehensive travel insurance as a condition of travel with Wild Expeditions

The following temporary exceptions to our standard T&Cs will apply. These conditions apply to all EXISTING bookings for travel with Wild Expeditions and its camps only and to cover all bookings travelling within the next 120 (4 months) days rolling forward from todays date.

  • Bookings may be amended up to 30 days prior to travel with no penalties

  • All existing, new and rebooked safaris require a negotiable 20% deposit to confirm with balance due 30 days prior

  • Confirmed bookings cancelled no less than 30 days before arrival can be postponed for travel within 18 months from date of original travel date. We will honour 2020 rates into 2021 but this will be subject to further costs if rebooked in a different season. Any increase in 3rd party properties and services beyond our control, to include park fees, will also have to be allowed for on the client account. We will do everything we reasonably can to offset these costs to manage the impact.

  • The re-booking will be made on the assumption that a deposit has already been made and priority will be given to those where payment in full has been made.

  • A re-booking can be made only once and will then be subject to standard terms review

  • Confirmed bookings cancelled no less than 30 days before arrival and do not wish to re-book, then cancellation terms applied as per standard terms and conditions and clients will be expected to claim from their travel insurance. We will however hold the deposit cancellation in credit locally on behalf of the booking agent, allowing the agent to refund the client where necessary.

  • Confirmed bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival will be subject to the normal cancellation policy.

  • Confirmed bookings that do not settle the balance 30 days prior, with no clear rebooking plan, will be viewed as a cancellation

  • Our standard terms and conditions apply for all bookings beyond the rolling 120 days from todays date

  • Provisional hold period extended from 2 weeks to 1 month/ indefinitely

  • Negotiable deposit secures the booking. Balance due 30 days prior to departure

  • Deposit and any monies paid for all Expeditions controlled services and accommodation fully refundable up to 30 days prior, in the form of a credit note

  • Less than 30 days normal cancellation applies
